Experience

Alongside my private practice I also provide counselling at Thanet Counselling Service and have worked at the Pilgrims Hospice as a counsellor. Offering emotional support to individuals navigating the deeply personal journey of grief and loss, anxiety, trauma, relationships, self-esteem and big life changes is a privilege and it has given me a profound appreciation for the courage, resilience and vulnerability involved in facing life’s most challenging moments.

I have also worked with charitable mental health organisations such as Mind, supporting individuals through regular mentoring and crisis walk-in centres. In addition, I have experience in providing counselling at a number of charitable counselling services.

I find joy in life’s simple moments—walking my two dogs along the beach, spending time in nature, or curling up with a good book. I’m naturally curious, love learning and have always been fascinated by the stories and experiences that shape who we are. I enjoy planning little adventures, connecting with the people I care about and taking time to notice the small things that make life meaningful. These simple joys help me feel grounded and bring a sense of balance and perspective that I carry into both my life and my work as a counsellor.
